Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has successfully arranged MTB Branch Managers’ Conference 2021 recently, a refreshers’ training on Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Risk Management. In the post-covid new normal, MTB arranged the conference at Samson H. Chowdhury Auditorium, MTB Tower, 111 Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Dhaka with the physical presence of Dhaka based Branch Managers and senior management while rest of the managers joined virtually from different corners of the country.
The conference was graced by Md. Masud Biswas, Deputy Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) as Chief Guest and A.B.M. Zahurul Huda, General Manager of BFIU as Special Guest. The event was hosted by Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MD & CEO of MTB. Goutom Prosad Das, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Group Internal Control & Compliance and Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Deputy Managing Director-Corporate & Commercial Business were also present at the conference along with the members of Management Committee and Central Compliance Committee. Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer moderated the event.
