Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) held its Annual Town Hall 2026 at a local venue in Dhaka under the theme “Trust Rebuilt, Future Redefined.” The Town Hall focused on reviewing the Bank’s performance, addressing prevailing challenges, and aligning MTBians with the strategic priorities for the year ahead, with a strong emphasis on rebuilding customer trust and shaping a resilient future.
MTB Chairman, Rashed Ahmed Chowdhury, and the Bank’s Board of Directors, including Md. Abdul Malek, Khwaja Nargis Hossain & Syed Nasim Manzur, and Managing Director & CEO, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, attended the programme. Senior management, divisional and departmental heads, and managers from across MTB’s branch network also attended the day-long session.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman, Rashed Ahmed Chowdhury emphasized that rebuilding and strengthening trust remains at the heart of MTB’s journey. He noted that integrity, strong governance, and consistent customer service are the core pillars that will guide the Bank’s long- term sustainability and continued progress in an evolving banking landscape.

He reaffirmed MTB’s commitment to delivering long-term value for customers while confidently navigating economic and market challenges.
