Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) and Jiban Bima Corporation have recently signed an agreement for Cash Management Services at a simple ceremony at Six Seasons Hotel, Gulshan-2, Dhaka 1212.
Under this agreement, Jiban Bima Corporation will utilize MTB’s integrated API-driven Cash Management Services for the nationwide collection of insurance premiums. The agreement also includes MTB’s digital payment solution, MTB eBank, for managing all types of payments and online collections through DDI. Transaction approvals can be conveniently completed through biometric authentication on the go by using MTB eBank App – the first of its kind in the local banking industry.
The agreement has been signed by Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MD & CEO of MTB and Md. Sayed Kutub, Managing Director (Additional Secretary) of Jibon Bima Corporation.
Among others, Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director & Chief Business Officer, Mohammad Mamun Faruk, DMD, Wholesale Banking Division, Md. Shafquat Hossain, DMD, Retail Banking Division, A.K.M. Tareq, DMD, Branch Banking Division, Md. Ashik Iqbal Khan, Divisional Head, Cash Management & Transaction Banking from MTB and Mohammad Abu Kawsar Jalil, General Manager, Finance & Accounts Division, Abu Naim Mohammad Maruf Khan, General Manager, ICT & Administration Division, H M Rokib Hayder, General Manager, EE Division of Jiban Bima Corporation, along with other senior officials from both organizations attended the ceremony.
