MTB Foundation, in its effort to align its CSR initiatives with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), recently extended support to Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) for their rehabilitation programme for paralyzed and disabled people. This support will help the persons with disabilities come back in the mainstream community life by living their lives independently.
Syed Rafiqul Haq, Additional Managing Director & Chief Business Officer, Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. (MTB), handed over the cheque to Valerie A. Taylor, Founder & Coordinator, Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) at a simple ceremony held at the Corporate Head Office of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB), Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212. Among others, Muhammad Saidur Rahman, Chairman of Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) and Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director & Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO), Goutam Prosad Das, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Group Internal Control & Compliance, Tarek Reaz Khan, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (CAMLCO), Md. Aminul Haque, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Tahmina Zaman Khan, Unit Head, Sustainable Finance Department and Azam Khan, Head of Communications Department of MTB along with other officials of the both organizations were also present at the event.
