MTB Inaugurates Air Lounge at Saidpur Airport, Nilphamari

Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. (MTB) inaugurated its sixth Air Lounge at Saidpur Airport, Nilphamari, with a view to ensuring greater comfort, luxury and convenience for its customers when travelling through the airport. Tipu Munshi, MP, Minister, Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh inaugurated the Air Lounge on February 17, 2022 at a simple ceremony held at the lounge premises. MTB already has the largest Air Lounges Network in the country with five Air Lounges at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) & the Domestic Terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA), Dhaka, Shah Amanat International Airport (SAIA), Chattogram, Osmani International Airport (OIA), Sylhet and Domestic Terminal of Cox’s Bazar Airport for the outbound passengers.

Among others, Ahsan Adelur Rahman, MP, 15 Nilphamari – 04, Bangladesh National Parliament, Md. Hedayetullah, Director, Chairman of Executive Committee & recently past Chairman & Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of MTB, Agriculturist Dewan Kamal Ahmed, Mayor, Nilphamari Pourashava, Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Superintendent of Police (SP), Shupolob Kumar, Assistant Director & Manager, Saidpur Airport, Mahfuz Ahmed, CEO, Nakshikatha and Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director & GCRO, Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Deputy Managing Director, Corporate & Commercial Business, Md. Rozar Ibna Azad, Head of Air Lounge & HSIA Booth and Azam Khan, Head of Communications Department from MTB along with other senior Government and bank officials were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

Tipu Munshi, MP, in his address, congratulated MTB on launching this special service, and expressed his satisfaction with the bank’s joining the Government’s efforts to ease the comfort of passengers travelling through the airports of the country. MTB Director, Md. Hedayetullah in his speech, acknowledged the importance of MTB Air Lounges for the outbound passengers through airports across the country.
