Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) PLC has inaugurated month long Entrepreneurship Program in Jashore in collaboration with SMESPD of Bangladesh Bank. 25 Entrepreneurs have registered in this ADB funded & Ministry of Finance implemented program to scale up skills for Industry competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP). This intensive program is targeted to enhance competencies of entrepreneurs as well as to attain eligibility to access to finance & financial services from formal sector to grow the business.
Husne Ara Shikha, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, graced the event as Chief Guest and narrated the importance of this program. Abdul Mannan, DMD & Head of Branch Banking Division of MTB PLC & Mohammad Wasim, Deputy Project Director of SICIP & Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank attended the event as Special guest and emphasized the scope & benefit of the program. Sanjib Kumar Dey, Head of SME and Agri Banking Division of MTB PLC presided the event and thanked all relevant stakeholders for their support & guidance to hold such a timely needed program.
