To commemorate the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2025’, MTB Foundation in partnership with Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) recently celebrated this year’s theme – ‘Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress’. The event was organized at the CDD premises at Savar in the presence of Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, Golam Rabbani & Nazmus Sakib, and Associates from MTB Foundation. Among others, A.H.M. Noman Khan, Executive Advisor and Moinul Islam, Senior Coordinator from Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) were also present at the event.
The highlight of the event was the distribution of Assistive Devices to persons with disabilities funded by MTB Foundation. The event concluded with an awareness session about the challenges faced by them with a view to promoting their inclusion and accessibility in the society.
