Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) and ActionAid International Bangladesh (AAIB) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bear the expenses for education and vocational training of vulnerable girls residing in the “Happy Home” hostel supervised by AAIB. Farah Kabir, Executive Director, ActionAid International Bangladesh (AAIB) and Azam Khan, Group Chief Communications Officer, MTB signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at a simple ceremony held at the office of ActionAid International Bangladesh (AAIB), Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212.
The education sector of the country has always been a priority for MTB’s initiatives related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). As part of the MoU, MTB will be engaging in participatory development and empowerment of women in Bangladesh through quality education.
