MTB distributed loans to Marginal Farmers in Rajshahi

MTB held an open loan disbursement ceremony at Puthia, Rajshahi on May 13, 2023, to support marginal farmers. As part of this program, 58 crop producers were provided with cheques for cultivating Paddy, Onion, and Turmeric. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Director, Bangladesh Bank, Agricultural Credit Department, Head Office, Dhaka graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer, MTB presided over the event.

Among others, Abdul Mannan, Head of Branch Banking Division, Sanjib Kumar Dey, Head of SME & Agri Banking Division, Iftekhar Aziz, Head of SME CRM Department along with MTB Head Office & Rajshahi Branch officials, Forhad Zulfikar Rafel, Vice President of Field Operation, i-Farmer, representatives from local government authorities were also present in the event. The endeavor exemplifies MTB’s unwavering dedication to bolstering the agricultural industry and empowering marginalized farmers through financial aid.
