MTB has stepped forward to ensure food security and to reduce import dependency of the country by distributing open loan to 479 marginal Maize producers in Lalmonirhat under Bangladesh Bank Refinance Scheme through Ulipur Branch. Md. Abdul Hakim, Executive Director of Rangpur office of Bangladesh Bank graced the event as Chief Guest and handed over cheque to farmers. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of MTB, presided over this auspicious program and pledged MTB’s commitment to partnering with Maize and other crop producers in coming days too. Saiful Arefin Khaled, Director of Agrow Breeders Ltd was also present in the event as special guest. Among others, Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan Khan, Deputy Managing Director & CBO, Syed Mahbub Morshed, BBD 2 Head and Sanjib Kumar Dey, Head of SME Banking Division of MTB, Adv. Moshiur Rahman, local Union Parishad Chairman and other officials of Bangladesh Bank, MTB and Agrow Breeders Ltd were also present in the program.
