MTB, the leading financial institution, proudly celebrated International MSME Day by granting new loans to clients across its 157 Branches/Sub-Branches. Aligned with this year’s theme, “Building a stronger future together,” MTB demonstrated its commitment to advancing inclusive and sustainable financing for MSMEs.
The esteemed Bangladesh Bank Director of SMESPD, Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman graced the event as Chief Guest and handed over cheques to MSME customers in an event at Samson H. Chowdhury Auditorium, MTB Tower, 111 Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Dhaka while MTB’s Managing Director & CEO, Syed Mahbubur Rahman presided over the event, further emphasizing MTB’s dedication to empowering MSMEs. During the event, all MTB branches and sub-branches were seamlessly connected virtually, enabling wider involvement and engagement.
Among others, Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Deputy Managing Director & CBO, Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director & CAMLCO, Abdul Mannan, Head of Branch Banking Division, and Sanjib Kumar Dey, Head of SME & Agri Banking Division of MTB along with customers, journalists from Print & Electric media and other senior officials of the Bank were also present in the program.
