MTB arranged its Annual Risk Conference 2022

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has recently organized its Annual Risk Conference 2022 virtually. The event was chaired by Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of MTB, hosted by Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director & Group Chief Risk Officer, co-hosted by Tahmina Zaman Khan from Risk Management Division of MTB and attended by MTB’s Senior Management team, branch officials and executives related to managing risks at the head office. It was a part of MTB’s revived commitment to build a robust risk management culture and remain aligned with the regulatory expectations. This year the theme of the Conference is “Dynamic Risk Management Practices for Sustainable Growth”. MTB’s Annual Risk Conference 2022 aims to disseminate the importance of effective risk management across the bank in order to achieve sustainable business growth. The bank’s senior management gave their opinions on the prevailing and emergent risk management issues and outlook on future landscape of risks. “The commencement of this risk conference is very timely and its impact is far beyond regulatory compliance.
