Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan has recently been promoted to the rank of Additional Managing Director (AMD) of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) with effect from September 01, 2023. Recently, he has also been serving the Bank as Chief Business Officer (CBO). Prior to this elevation, he was the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of MTB. Khalid was also serving the Bank as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Wholesale Banking Division – 02. Out of 23 years of his service duration at MTB, he has successfully served the bank as the Manager of three important branches of MTB like Principal Branch, Dilkusha Branch, and Panthapath Branch for 13 years.
After completing his Masters from the University of Dhaka, he also obtained his MBA. He started his career as a Probationary Officer of Agrani Bank Limited in 1994. Khalid has 29 years of front-line banking experience in relationship management of diverse customer segments i.e. Corporate, Financial Institutions, Local Corporate, and SME & Retail, and practical knowledge in Lending, Recovery, International Trade, Foreign Exchange, and General Banking. Khalid has attended various local and overseas training courses and seminars and frequently delivers lectures on diverse banking-related topics.
