To observe World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, MTB Foundation, in partnership with Abinta Kabir Foundation School, celebrated this year’s theme ‘Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld’ by distributing nutrition packs to the underprivileged female students of the school.
Through this initiative, MTB Foundation continues its commitment to support adolescent girls by addressing their menstrual health needs and upholding their dignity. MTB Foundation believes that improved awareness, access to menstrual products, period-friendly sanitation and basic nutrition support can help girls manage their health and well-being during menstruation and ensure regular attendance in school. The initiative reflects MTB Foundation’s objective to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), 4 (Quality Education) and 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
The nutrition packs were handed over by Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, MTB Foundation to Maliha Ahsan, Education Program Manager, Abinta Kabir Foundation School. Farkhunda Ahmed, Assistant Manager, Abinta Kabir Foundation along with other officials were also present during the event.
