MTB Foundation commemorates International Day of Education 2026 by distributing ‘Swapno Sarathi’ Bicycles to Female Students of Mathbaria, Barishal

To commemorate the International Day of Education 2026, MTB Foundation celebrated this year’s theme ‘The Power of Youth in Co-Creating Education’ by distributing free bicycles to the female underprivileged meritorious students of different schools in Mathbaria, Barishal under its ‘Swapno Sarathi’ (The Dream Chariot) program. The motto of the campaign “স্কুলে যেতে দূরত্ব যেন বাধা না হয়” aims to enable the female students to overcome geographical barriers by facilitating their movement to and from school.

The initiative exemplifies MTB Foundation’s objective to support the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), 4 (Quality Education), 5 (Gender Equality) and 10 (Reduced Inequalities).

The ceremony was attended by Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer & Nazmus Sakib, Associate of MTB Foundation and Mohammad Farid Hossain, Branch Manager, MTB Barishal Branch & Md. Abu Hanif, Sub-Branch Manager, MTB Mathbaria Sub-Branch.
