Azam Khan has been appointed as the Head of Communications & Senior Vice President (SVP) of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB). Prior to joining MTB, he was the Head of Marketing & Development and Public Relations Division of First Security Islami Bank Limited (FSIBL) from 2013 to 2016. Azam is an Executive Committee Member of Bangladesh Public Relation Association and Associate Member of National Press Club who brings with him more than 20 years in banking and 12 years in development sector in different capacities.

Azam completed his Bachelor and Masters in Department of International Relations Finance from the University of Dhaka. He started his career in 1988 with Voluntary Health Service Society (VHSS) as Assistant Publication Officer. Later he has joined Caritas Bangladesh as Public Relations Officer in 1993. He switched to Standard Bank Limited in 1999 as Public Relations Officer. He also served with Dutch Bangla Bank Limited as Public Relations Officer from 2001-2004. Later he joined Dhaka Bank Limited as Head of PR Office in 2004.

In personal life, he is blessed with a daughter.
