Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman is a distinguished leader in Bangladesh’s banking sector, currently serving as the Managing Director & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB). His career spans over three and half decades, marked by transformative leadership and strategic excellence across several top-tier financial institutions.

Before joining MTB, he held the position of Managing Director & CEO at Dhaka Bank PLC, and prior to that, he led BRAC Bank PLC as both Managing Director & CEO and Deputy Managing Director. His earlier roles include serving as Deputy Managing Director at Prime Bank PLC, where he played a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation.
