Ms. Zareen Mahmud Hosein has been appointed as Independent Director of MTB. Ms. Hosein has 20 plus years of Financial Management and Leadership experience. She is the Founding Partner of Snehasish Mahmud & Co., Chartered Accountants. She is also the Founder & Executive Director of Herstory Foundation, a blended learning platform.

Ms. Hosein started her career at New York City Mayor’s Budget Office and then served at KPMG, LLP in New York where she qualified as a Certified Public Accountant. She moved to Bangladesh and worked at ACNABIN, Chartered Accountants before starting her own practice.

She obtained a BA degree from Smith College and an MPA from New York University. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh and an Acumen Fellow.
