Mr. Syed Nasim Manzur is the Director of Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB). Currently, he is serving as the Chairman of the Board Executive Committee of the Bank. Mr. Manzur is a distinguished Bangladeshi industrialist and the Managing Director of Apex Footwear Limited, a leading leather footwear manufacturer and exporter in Bangladesh. He is the son of Late Syed Manzur Elahi, a renowned entrepreneur, former advisor to the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh and the Founding Chairman of the Bank.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Mr. Manzur is deeply engaged in national business and civic initiatives. He is the President of the Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB), a former two-term President of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), and a trustee of BRAC University. He is also associated with NGOs like FRIENDSHIP and SPBA, and serves on several national committees related to entrepreneurship, innovation, and export promotion. A strong advocate for sustainable development, he is a core group member of the Citizens Platform for SDGs and frequently speaks at national defense institutions, promoting economic growth through private sector leadership.

Mr. Manzur completed his B.Sc. in Economics with a focus on Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
