Mufti Muinul Islam is a distinguished Islamic jurist with deep expertise in Shariah, Islamic Fiqh, and Ifta, holding advanced specialization from internationally renowned institutions such as Darul Uloom Deoband and Darul Uloom Bharuch, equivalent to a PhD in Islamic Law. His academic foundation spans Qur’an, Hadith, Tafsir, and Fiqh, complemented by formal BA and MA degrees in Islamic Studies, enabling him to combine classical Islamic scholarship with structured academic research and instruction.

He brings extensive applied Shariah experience through decades of leadership as Chairman & Chief Mufti of the Islamic Fiqh Academy and long-term service on Shariah Supervisory Committees of leading Islamic banks and financial institutions in Bangladesh. Renowned for his role in Shariah governance, fatwa issuance, and compliance oversight, he has made significant contributions to Islamic finance, legal research, and scholarly publications, firmly establishing his authority in both theoretical and practical Shariah matters.
