MTB Islamic Current Account operates under Shari’ah-compliant contract of Wadiah Yad Dhamanah, which facilitates safekeeping of clients’ deposits. Under this arrangement, deposited funds may be utilized by MTB Islamic at its own risk in Shari’ah-compliant financing activities.

Depositors do not bear any investment risk and do not earn any profit on this account. MTB Islamic guarantees full principal amount and is obligated to repay deposited funds on demand.
